Lōk Zi̽k Vrët (/loːk/ /zi̽k/ [absent] [nest; treasure]) is a subtropical Town located in the Zde̜ze̜ Moot of the Viceroyalty of Rosid.
The name Lōk Zi̽k Vrët is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Lōk Zi̽k Vrët was founded by Glena Nizanrel, who was culturaly Wood Elven.
Climate
Lōk Zi̽k Vrët has a yearly average temperature of 13°C (55°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a freezing 0°C (32°F). Lōk Zi̽k Vrët receives an average of 149 cm/y (58 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. Lōk Zi̽k Vrët covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 3946 m (12946 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Lōk Zi̽k Vrët was founded durring the early 12th century in fall of the year 1124, by Glena Nizanrel. The establishment of Lōk Zi̽k Vrët was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Lōk Zi̽k Vrët's construction back out of the project. Glena Nizanrel pushed on reguardles, and Lōk Zi̽k Vrët was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
Lōk Zi̽k Vrët was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Lōk Zi̽k Vrët is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Lōk Zi̽k Vrët is is constructed arround a semi-circular spacious baked earthen mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town rests behind a thick wall made from clay bricks. The wall has all of the proper fortifications and is well made. Unfortuantly the nature of clay brick leaves it quite vulnerable to siege equipment, though the thickness of the wall lends it simmilar resistnace to a thinner hardrock wall. Astonishigly, the millitarily questionable fortifications are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.
A look around Lōk Zi̽k Vrët gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. A second look around Lōk Zi̽k Vrët makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had.
Civic Infrastructure
Lōk Zi̽k Vrët has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Lōk Zi̽k Vrët.

Lōk Zi̽k Vrët has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Lōk Zi̽k Vrët has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Lōk Zi̽k Vrët's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Lōk Zi̽k Vrët has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Lōk Zi̽k Vrët has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
One or more crime bosses have a powerful influence within Lōk Zi̽k Vrët. They may control crime within the community itself, or they may use it simply as a safe haven from which to direct their minions elsewhere. Local law enforcement may know all about them, but lack the strength to confront them and their paid or intimidated henchmen.
Lōk Zi̽k Vrët's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.

Lōk Zi̽k Vrët's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves performance art to channel Augury energies of tier 3 via divine sermons.
